At the end of 2018, Healthcare Logistics moved its Australian operations to a new state-of-the-art distribution centre in western Sydney.
The purpose-built, 25,000m2 facility is fully temperature controlled and features modern warehousing technology for pharmaceutical, medical consumables and over-the-counter products, with ample storage for up to 30,000 pallets.
In addition to standard pallet storage, the facility offers secure storage for controlled medicines and dangerous goods, provisions for cold chain, frozen and sensitive products, and specialty areas for sample distribution, Secondary Packaging and Clinical Trials.
As part of HCL’s commitment to environmental responsibility, the facility includes solar power and water recycling capabilities.
HCL also works closely with Zest to provide warehousing and distribution services to assist in the efficient running of the specialised support programs. These programs are run in conjunction with our partner companies under patient familiarisation programs and market access schemes.
Our facility is industry leading in compliance to standards that minimise risk to product damage, loss or environmental exposure through smart monitoring systems, uninterrupted power supply (generators) and ample redundancy as well as security systems that meet rigorous standards.
